The Exterior House Painting Process

First we prep the home with a eco friendly wash if needed, then we proceed to scraping. once the scraping is complete we power sand all the bare areas to help get rid of the ridges. once this is complete we use a heavy duty oil based primed to seal the surfaces and then proceed with either one or two coats (if needed or wanted) of diamond exterior paint. your options for exterior sheens are flat, satin, and semi gloss. the higher the sheen the longer the life of the paint. its always best to start at the top of the house and work your way down. we remove and replace all storm windows, caulk any seems with flex 9000 to ensure a sealed surface. we also have an on site carpenter who is capable of doing any wood rot repairs.
